Disney Releases New ‘Andor’ Trailer And It’ll Give You Chills!

Andor

Bright and early this morning, Disney+ released a new trailer for its upcoming original series, Andor. The 12-episode series from Lucasfilm is set to debut on Wednesday, September 21st, with its first 3 episodes. And while we were excited for the series prior to this morning, after seeing this new trailer… we have chills.

Andor takes place prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and it explores a new perspective from the Star Wars Galaxy. The series will focus on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. And we’ll also see the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

We know that series will provide fans with the backstory of how Cassian eventually becomes the man that sacrifices his life to save the galaxy. Diego Luna has commented on what we expect from Cassian in the series, saying, “We find him in a place where he’s not aware of how capable he is of transforming or being part of change or executing such a sacrifice, but he is the man that comes out from fighting since he was six years old. “

“He’s a very interesting, dark, wounded person. You’re not going to believe that he’s capable of what he does in Rogue One.” Luna adds.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor. And he’s joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw. Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, and Michelle Rejwan all serve as executive producers. And Tony Gilroy is also created as the series creator and showrunner.
