Mila Kunis Net Worth: How Much Is the Actress Worth in 2025?

Updated March 2025: This article has been refreshed with Mila Kunis’ latest net worth, income sources, and financial updates.
Mila Kunis started acting at a young age, with her first TV role being in Days of Our Lives in 1994. However, today, she’s most known for her iconic role in That ‘70s Show and for being the voice of Meg Griffin in Family Guy.
Since her first acting job, Kunis has appeared in numerous TV shows and movies. With over 75 acting credits to her name as of 2025, Mila Kunis’ net worth has grown drastically over the last two and half decades, with it now being estimated at $75 million.
And while it’s easy to assume that Kunis has built her wealth solely from her acting career, that’s not the case. Kunis’ work as a brand ambassador, her real estate investments, and other ventures have also impacted her celebrity net worth. Read on to learn about Kunis’ successes and how they’ve affected her net worth. (And her most recent upcoming projects, including Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery!)
Early Life
Milena Markovna Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine on August 14, 1983. Her mother, Elvira, taught physics and ran a pharmacy. Her father, Mark, was a mechanical engineer but drove a cab for a living. Kunis also has an older sibling, a brother named Michael.
In 1991, the family moved from Ukraine to Los Angeles to escape the worsening situation in Ukraine. They only had $250, because that was all the family was allowed to bring. Both Kunis’ parents had good jobs and respectable degrees but they would have to start over once arriving in the US.
Upon arrival, Kunis was immediately enrolled at the Rosewood Elementary School. She was in second grade at the time, and she didn’t know any English words. She later attended Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School, then Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. And for greater flexibility in her schedule, she would switch to Fairfax High School where she finally graduated.
Kunis then attended the University of California, Los Angeles and Loyola Marymount University, both in LA.
Acting Career
When Kunis was nine years old, she took acting lessons at the Beverly Hills Studios after school. This was where she would meet her future manager, Susan Curtis. The first acting job she had was for a Lisa Frank commercial. Her first TV role was for Days of Our Lives, followed by Baywatch and 7th Heaven.
In 1998, Kunis was cast in That 70s Show despite being only 14 years old at the time. One of the requirements for the cast was that they had to be at least 18 years old. Kunis lied about her age, saying that she would be 18. However, her acting chops still landed her the role of Jackie Burkhart.
She stayed with the series for the entire eight seasons. And her performance earned her the Young Star Award for Best Young Actress in a Comedy TV Series for two years straight.
In 1999, Kunis began providing the voice of Meg Griffin in season 2 of the animated TV show Family Guy. She took the place of Lacey Chabert who did the job in the first season.
Kunis gets a salary between $175,000 and $225,000 per episode for her role. Adding the sales of merchandise, DVDs and syndication deals, both Family Guy and That 70s Show have had a noticeable impact on Mila Kunis’ net worth.
Kunis has continued her long-running voice role as Meg Griffin in Family Guy, which is now in its 23rd season as of early 2025. Her ongoing commitment to this character represents one of her most consistent income sources throughout her career.
Film Roles
By 2021, Kunis had expanded her repertoire from TV to film. For her first big screen role, Kunis starred in Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst. The next films were not as successful at the box office – American Psycho 2, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, and Moving McAllister.
Her first hugely successful film was 2008’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Kunis played the role of Rachel Jansen and starred opposite Jason Segel, Russell Brand and Kristen Bell. The film earned more than $105 million in worldwide ticket sales.
Kunis’ next role was the character Mona Sax in the 2008 film Max Payne. The movie didn’t perform as well at the box office, and the critics absolutely panned it. Next up was 2009’s Extract, which was well panned by audiences despite having praise from critics.
In 2010, Kunis starred in a series of commercially successful and critically acclaimed films. These included the big hits were The Book of Eli and Date Night. But her most successful performance that year was for a very challenging role in Black Swan where she starred opposite Natalie Portman.
Black Swan made more than $329 globally and won Kunis multiple awards, including nominations for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globe Awards, Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and SAG Awards. Needless to say, by 2010, Mila Kunis’ net worth was steadily climbing with each new project.
Other commercially successful films followed, like Friends with Benefits. Co-starring Justin Timberlake, this film made close to $150 million. Next up was Ted, which made a whopping $549 million, and then the Disney film Oz the Great and Powerful, which grossed over $493 million.
Recent Work
In the last decade, most of the films that Kunis appeared in received mixed reviews from critics. The 2015 sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending, for instance, made over $183 million at the box office but the reviews were pretty terrible.
Kunis starred alongside Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, and Christina Applegate for the 2016 film Bad Moms which brought in $183 million worldwide. It was enough to justify a sequel with 2017’s A Bad Moms Christmas which made $130 million worldwide
In 2018, the Kunis starred with Kate McKinnon in The Spy Who Dumped Me. It made a gross of just over $75 million.
Fans can see Kunis next in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, the third installment in Rian Johnson’s popular whodunit franchise starring Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc. Production has wrapped on the film, and Netflix plans to release the film later in 2025.
Other Ventures & Brand Ambassadorships
Kunis has had several Brand Ambassador deals over the years. Most notably, Gemfields, a colored gemstone producer, and bourbon company, Jim Beam.
While the deals’ financial details aren’t publicly available, Jim Beam saw 43% growth following their initial “Make History” ad campaign with Kunis. The success resulted in the brand bringing Kunis back in for a second campaign in 2015.
Additionally, Kunis has moved into producing projects, including the Netflix adaptation of Luckiest Girl Alive in 2022, where she both starred and served as producer.
Personal Life
In 2002, Kunis started to date actor Macaulay Culkin. They stayed together for almost a decade but eventually called it quits. However, they did separate on good terms. The Ukrainian born actress and the Home Alone star are still good friends to this day.
After the breakup, Kunis and That ‘70s show co-star and future husband Ashton Kutcher began dating. They were engaged two years later and a year after that, they were married. The couple have been blessed with two children – daughter Wyatt Isabelle and son Dimitri Portwood.
The couple maintains several properties across the country. This includes a $10 million beachfront home in the Santa Barbara area that they bought in 2017. They also sold a Beverly Hills home for $10.35 million early this year, making just a tiny profit from the purchase price. Their family’s primary residence is a sprawling Beverly Hills estate that covers 6 acres.
