Justin Randall Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 31, 1981. His mother is Janet Lynn Harless and his father is Charles Randall Timberlake. He has three half-siblings from his father’s subsequent marriage. This includes his two half brothers, Jonathan and Stephen, from his father’s second marriage.

Timberlake comes from a family of prolific musicians. His background is a combination of country music and gospel music. When he was 11 years old, Timberlake joined Star Search under the name Justin Randall, this would be the beginning of his musical career.

A year after his appearance on Star Search, Timberlake joined the cast of The All New Mickey Mouse Club. He stayed on the show from 1993 to 1994.
