Review:
ER is one of the longest running best prime-time shows that television has had to offer. The show has been nominated for 25 Golden Globes and 110 Emmys, including 7 for Outstanding Drama Series. The show was created by best-selling author Michael Crichton, the mastermind behind books such as Jurassic Park, Lost World, Congo, and Twister just to name a few.

Season 4 was one of ER’s strongest seasons. The cast was clearly comfortable with the characters that they were playing, and we saw multiple new story arches introduced. There have been many medical shows in the past and present, few of which will ever rival the success and quality that ER has achieved. The episodes are brilliantly written and the actors bring such life to their characters. One of the favorite characters among the earlier seasons of ER was George Clooney’s character, Dr. Ross. Season 4 was Clooney’s second to last season with the show, and certainly displayed some of his finest acting work.

Fans will not be disappointed with the extra features on this set; along with deleted scenes you will also find a rather entertaining gag reel. It has taken a long time for a region 1 version of this set to be released, and now all the US and Canadian fans can relive the moments along with everyone else!
