‘Eastwick’ The New Charmed?

Have you checked out ABC’s series ‘Eastwick’ yet? The series revolves around a small New England town and three very different women whose dreams are about to come true, with the arrival of one devilishly handsome man.

Based on the John Updike novel and the hit film ‘The Witches of Eastwick’, this comedic drama centers on three young witches whose powers are awakened when a mysterious man moves to town. Sexy, bold and dramatic, the series explores the possibility that the perfect man truly may be the Devil.

‘Eastwick’ is entertaining and employs the magic of ‘Charmed’ with the whimsicalness of ‘Pushing Daisies’. Each of the witches possess a certain power – the one of most interest in my opinion is Joanna Frankel, who has an uncanny ability to control things with her mind. Man, wouldn’t that come in handy?
