‘Emily in Paris’ Star Lily Collins Launches Her First Production Company

Lily Collins

Emily in Paris star Lily Collins always had dreams of launching her own production company. And the actress was able to fulfill her childhood dream with the help of her husband, Charlie McDowell, and friend, fellow producer Alex Orlovsky.

Together, the trio launched Case Study Films, and Collins, daughter of music star Phil Collins, was excited to share the news with the world.

Lily Collins Launches Case Study Films

“Today marks a very special day – a childhood dream come true,” Collins, 33, says on Instagram.

“I finally have the honor of announcing CASE STUDY FILMS to the world,  production company I’m launching with the best partners I could ever ask for, @charliemcdowell and @aorlovsky1.” Collins adds.

The production company already has their first production under their belt with 2022’s crime-thriller, Windfall. The flick, which was directed by Charlie McDowell, starred Jason Segel, Lily Collins, and Jesse Plemons. Though, reportedly, it wasn’t a big success at the box office.

“We’ll be working to tell compelling and outside of the box stories alongside both established talent and new, exciting voices of this generation and the next. Our hope is that this company grows into a very unique one stop shop for creatives from all walks of life, helping them foster an idea from conception to release.” Collins also noted in her Instagram post. “I cannot wait to develop and collaborate with this incredible team. Much more coming on @casestudy.films…”

What’s Next for Case Study Films

Additionally, Case Study Films is currently in production on 2023’s Memory, which stars Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard. And the company is also working on a treatment for a TV mini-series, Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street, which will also star Lily Collins.

Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street will follow Lichtenstein and Morgan, played by Collins, and their wild story of stumbling upon $3.6 billion worth of Bitcoin stolen from the Finex exchange.

Next for Lily Collins

Collins isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With Emily in Paris Season 3 set to premiere on Netflix in December, she’s already in pre-production on her next projects, Amazon’s The Accomplice and the thriller Titan.
