Jenna Ortega Signs on to Star in ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’

Wednesday‘s Jenna Ortega is set to star in the upcoming romantic drama Winter Spring Summer or Fall. Tiffany Paulsen is directing the new flick, and it marks her directorial debut.

In the new project, Ortega, 20, will star in the flick alongside her Wednesday co-star, Percy Hynes White (who plays Xavier Thorpe in the Netflix series). The movie’s plot follows two teenagers (Ortega and Hynes White) as they meet and fall in love on four days of the year.

The script is penned by Dan Schoffer with revisions by Tiffany Paulsen. Additionally, it’s being produced by MPCA’s Brad Krevoy, together with Josh Shader and David Wulf.

“We’re excited to be further diversifying MPCA’s robust slate with ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’.” Krevoy says in a recent statement on the project. “Jenna Ortega is enormously talented as an actor and producer, and we know both she and Percy will bring heartfelt depth to their roles. And that, along with Tiffany’s experience with character and her vision for the film, will only enhance the brilliant script from Dan.”

Director Tiffany Paulsen is no stranger to projects in this genre. She previously wrote Netflix’s Holidate, starring Emma Roberts, and About Fate, also starring Roberts.

Winter Spring Summer or Fall is currently in pre-production. And no release date has been announced yet. But we’ll keep you posted as more news surfaces on the project.
