Cyrus bought a home in Studio City, California in 2011. The villa-type house takes inspiration from an Old Italian country. In 2017, she purchased a 30-acre estate in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer shared a Malibu home with Hemsworth but the Woolsey Fire in 2018 burned it down. She had an equestrian ranch in Hidden Hills, which the star sold in spring 2018. The massive property sits on a 5-acre ground with several amenities like a wine cellar and gym.
