Gal Gadot, the renowned Wonder Woman star, openly acknowledges her struggle with impostor syndrome, confessing that she often doubts herself and fears that her work may not be well-received.

In an interview with L’Officiel magazine, she shared her feelings, stating, “It’s funny, I always feel like I have this imposter syndrome. Because I feel so lucky. And I’m so happy that I get to do what I really, really, really love. I always feel like, ‘I hope they’re gonna like it.’ There’s never a moment when I’m like, ‘They’re gonna love this.'”

The 38-year-old actress, who graces the magazine cover, disclosed a valuable piece of advice she received to cope with this psychological disorder that plagues individuals with a sense of being fraudulent. Gal Gadot recounted a conversation she had with Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola, 84, who offered her solace.

She recollected his words, saying, “He said, ‘You know, something? I’m always filled with doubts. I’m always afraid they’re not going to like it. I just follow my heart, and I come into it humble.'”

During the interview, the Fast X actress also spoke about collaborating with her husband, Jaron Varsano, on her film Heart Of Stone, where she stars and is a co-producer. Gal expressed her confidence in Jaron’s abilities, stating, “Jaron has the business mind. And who else can take care of my interests better than my life partner.”
