New Episodes of MTV’s MADE

Back for its eighth season MTV’s “MADE” chronicles the challenges and accomplishments that young people face as they attempt a life-changing transformation. To assist on their journey in accomplishing their “makeover”, MTV provides a coach who doubles as a mentor. The premiere episode “Made: Boxer” airing on January 7th at 10pm will feature Whitley, a ballet dancing girly girl who wants to stop relying on her friends for everything and get tough by being MADE into a hard hitting boxer.

A marathon of new “Made” episodes airing on January 12th from 11am -4pm (ET/PT) include “Made: Rapper”, “Made: Ballerina, “Made: Ballroom Dancer” “Made: Figure Skater”,, and “Made: Soap Star”. Below are descriptions of the episodes that are scheduled to air:

Made: Rapper (11 AM) – In this episode Colin is a history-loving trombonist who wants to be MADE into a rapper and gain the respect of his classmates. Watch as his hip-hop superstar coach, Talib Kweli tries to take this no-name swordsman and make him into a hip-hop warrior just in time for his Junior/Senior dance.

Made: Ballerina (12 Noon) – Sarah is a clumsy overachieving bookworm who wants to prove there’s more to her than brains. She wants to take center stage and be MADE into a high kicking, toe pointing ballerina. Sarah will be trained by renowned ballet dancer, Robert Sher-Machherndl, who will literally keep her on her toes. Follow her journey as she goes from super geek to swan- like chic.

Made: Ballroom Dancer (1 PM) – Bryce, the class clown, wants to shed his clumsy goofball reputation and be MADE into a ballroom dancer. Watch as he tries to earn the respect of his peers as a class act by winning his school’s talent show.

Made: Figure Skater (2 PM) – This episode features Jessica, the town tomboy, who wants to get in touch with her feminine side. By getting MADE into a graceful, girly figure skater, she hopes to get a date to her Homecoming dance. But before she can dominate on the ice, Jessica will have to overcome her impossible schedule, some grueling physical challenges, and a bad attitude.

Made: Soap Star (3 PM) – Erick, a seventeen year old from Pennsylvania, is tired of feeling invisible. So he’s decided he wants to be MADE into a soap opera star to gain the celebrity he so feels he deserves. With soap sensation, Jacob Young as his coach, Erick only has 5 weeks to learn the ins and outs of being a daytime star in order to nail the once in a lifetime opportunity to audition for All MY Children.
