Fox May Not Want Conan

After all the talk that Conan O’Brien could jump to FOX due to his conflict with NBC and Jay Leno, it now appears that FOX may not really want him. Not only are most FOX stations tied into syndication contracts or local news spots that may prevent a new late-night talk show on the network, but one of the network’s General Managers seemed to not be very interested. One General Manager was quoted as saying, “If he didn’t work on NBC, why would he work for us? I don’t see a fit in our particular market.”
