‘Glee’ Creator Unveils First New Character

‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy recently announced that he is casting a male version of Mercedes for the series.

Earlier this month, Murphy revealed that the series would be holding open auditions to add 3 new members to cast. These characters would include an “out and proud” boyfriend for Kurt (Chris Colfer), a Eve Harrington (from ‘All About Eve’) who would steal some of Rachel’s (Lea Michele) thunder, and lastly an R&B singing teen who will be a possible love interest for Mercedes (Amber Riley).

‘Glee’ returns on April 13th in the US.
