The winter premiere of USA’s WHITE COLLAR on Tuesday at 10pm delivered series high ratings among P18-49 and 2nd best among P25-54, ranking as the #1 program of the day on cable and beating many shows on broadcast. The show, which previously aired on Fridays in 4Q09, averaged 2.12 million P18-49, up +30% from the 4Q09 season average, and 2.21 million P25-54, up +18%. This is USA’s best performance for P25-54 in the Tuesday time slot in more than five years. The move to the night also brought in series highs among P18-34 with a jump of +42%.

WHITE COLLAR out-delivered ABC in its entire primetime lineup among P18-49, P25-54 and total viewers. It also beat all broadcast competitors among M18-49, making it #1 in the demo at 10pm in all of television. WHITE COLLAR beat CBS among P18-34 in the 10 pm timeslot.

Leading into WHITE COLLAR, the network premiere of “The Bourne Ultimatum” was a big win for the night as television’s second highest-rated entertainment show on cable among P25-54 with 1.38 million, and 1.27 million P18-49. The combo of both premieres made USA the #1 P18-49 network in primetime and the #1 P25-54 entertainment cable network. USA doubled the audience of the #2 entertainment network for P25-54 (Discovery) and USA’s primetime average beat ABC’s among P18-49 and P25-54.

WHITE COLLAR, USA’s newest hit original series about the most unlikely of partnerships between a con artist and an FBI agent, stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson and Natalie Morales, returns on its new day on Tuesday, January 19 at 10/9c with seven all-new episodes. WHITE COLLAR ended the first half of the season on December 4, 2009 in record-breaking form delivering a season high 5.55 million total viewers.
