Beetlejuice is BACK! Legendary filmmaker Tim Burton —a genre unto himself— and Oscar nominee Michael Keaton reunite for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The long-awaited sequel to the comedy horror classic is here. And the OG stars, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, are also back, joined by the likes of Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe!

Synopsis
Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

Beetlejuice is one of the touchstones of my earliest memories of film as a kid. I used to watch it all the time and wore out my VHS. I love the musical and have also seen it many times. I’m really excited to see how they bring the story into a new era and where the story goes from here.

Oh the nostalgia for millenials! I am so ready to see the long and overdue sequel to Beetlejuice. No one can do the character justice like Michael Keaton. I’m ready to see how the story unfolds with Lydia and her daughter. Also, I’m curious to know if we will get another “Day-O” dinner/table scene as the first one LOL!
