‘The Sarah Silverman Program’ Is Cancelled
‘The Sarah Silverman Program’ has been canceled after three seasons. The show nearly ended in 2009 after Comedy Central cut the budget by 20%. Silverman, along with executive producers Dan Sterling and Rob Schrab, threatened to leave the show over that, but a deal was made to secure a 10-episode season three. Halfway through season three, which is done filming, Comedy Central moved the show from 10:30PM to midnight.
