Voice Woes For Rhys Meyers

Movie star JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS hates his voice.

The Velvet Goldmine star doesn’t mind watching his performances on the big screen – until he opens his mouth.

He says, “I don’t like listening to myself speak… It’s never quite convincing.”

And the Irish actor can’t bring himself to watch his performance in new movie August Rush because his character sings.

He adds, “It’s dreadful… I’m absolutely horrified and stunned that I could shame myself so much.”
