Spears Has Visitation Rights Cut Back

BRITNEY SPEARS has had her visitation rights with her children scaled back to twice a week.

The Toxic singer, who was previously given permission to see her two sons approximately every other day, will be monitored during her two visits, which will take place from 12pm to 7pm on one day, and an overnight stay from 12pm and 10am on another.

Also revealed in the documents is a statement from Spears’ parenting coach Lisa Hacker, in which she says the star “rarely engaged with (her) children in either conversation or play” during monitored visits, although the 25-year-old is improving.

Hacker also says Spears showed a “lack of general attention at times”.

She added: “The problem is that unless (Spears) realizes the consequences of her behavior and the impact that it has on her children, nothing is going to be successful.

“Many of (Spears’) interactions with the children are not child-centered. It seems that her choices are dependent more on what (she) wants to do rather than what would be more enjoyable for the children.”

However, Hacker does state that Spears clearly “loves her children and the children are bonded to her”.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon has also ordered the singer to child-proof her home by Friday (02Nov07) – and that includes making sure there is a child-proof fence around her pool.

Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s next custody hearing is set for
26 November (07).

Federline still has physical custody of Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.
