Spears’ Pal Defends Her Against Drug-Taking Allegations

The dancer accused of trying to sell BRITNEY SPEARS’ diaries has defended the singer from allegations of ongoing drug abuse.

Last week (ends26Oct07), Sam Lufti denied reports he had been offering the diaries to U.K. publications for a $2 million (#1 million) payday, and now he’s dismissing speculation Spears takes drugs.

Spears has to take regular drug and alcohol tests as part of her ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, and Lufti insists they’ve all come back clean.

He says, “When the state does eight random drug tests and they all come out negative, that speaks for itself. I said five months ago that she doesn’t do any drugs, and now the judge is saying it.

“I mean, these are random drug tests where she gets a call, day or night, with no notice and they show up with no warning and administer extensive tests.
They come at any hour of the day or night, and she’s passed every one of them.”
