Jaleel White Cleared of Battery Charges

Jaleel White, best known for playing Steve Urkel in ‘Family Matters’, is in the clear over domestic battery charges, according to a report.

White was accused last week of punching and slapping Bridget Hardy, the mother of his child. White denied any wrongdoing and now the LAPD has insufficient evidence to move forward with the case.

Philip Cohen, the attorney for White, said that there were concerns about the “credibility and timing” of the accuser in the incident, in part because she waited several weeks before reporting the alleged incident.
