LaBeouf Turns To A.A. To Kick Booze

Actor SHIA LaBEOUF is attending Alcoholics Anonymous classes in a bid to kick booze.

The Indiana Jones star vowed to overcome his drink demons after he was charged by police for refusing to leave a Chicago, Illinois, drugstore while drunk last year (07). The charges were later dropped.

A source tells American tabloid the National Enquirer, “Shia decided to make good use of his time off during the writers strike by dedicating 60 days to getting his two-month sobriety chip.

“He’s been spending time at A.A. talking with people, drinking coffee and learning the twelve steps.”

LaBeouf was brought up by a hippie mother and drug dealer father, who he frequently attended A.A. classes with as a child.
