HEATH LEDGER was a movie set prankster who once filled an amphibian-fearing producer’s hotel room with live frogs.
The late actor picked on Hollywood hotshot Lee Daniels while the pair was staying in a low-rent Louisiana motel during shooting for 2001 movie Monster’s Ball.
Daniels tells the New York Daily News, “One day, I turned on the light in my room and saw frogs hopping around. I was screaming.
“In the next room, I heard Heath laughing. He knew I didn’t like frogs, so he’d gone out and caught some. He was a serious, hardworking actor, but he was also a riot.”
The Brokeback Mountain star was found dead in his New York apartment last week (22Jan08). He was 28.
