Williams’ Interview Before Ledger’s Death

Actress MICHELLE WILLIAMS opened up about her failed relationship to HEATH LEDGER just weeks before the death of the tragic star.

In an interview with Britain’s Wonderland Magazine published this month (Feb08), the former Dawson’s Creek beauty discussed how much her life had changed since her September 2007 split from fiance Ledger, admitting she has learned not to plan too far ahead in the future.

She said: “Obviously so much has changed for me in the last few months that I don’t really have and idea of what my life is going to be.

“I thought I knew certain things and it turned out that I didn’t, so I don’t really try and anticipate so much anymore. I’m not making any bets on the future.”

And Williams even addressed the benefits of no longer being in such a high-profile romance, adding: “When you’re in a relationship with somebody who is also a public personality, then it doubles the attention from the media.

“When you minus that equation, it’s just less enticing. That’s been a real bonus. It’s the plus side of the break-up for me.”

Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on 22 January (08) after taking an accidental drugs overdose.
