Joan Cusack & William H. Macy To Star In ‘Shameless’

Showtime has announced that Joan Cusack is joining the cast of ‘Shameless’. ‘Shameless’ is a new one-hour drama based on a long running UK series.

Cusak is scheduled to appear in all 12 episodes of the new series, playing the role of Sheila. Sheila is an agoraphobic Chicago housewife with a sexually active teenage daughter. She also has a special relationship with William H. Macy’s character, Frank Gallagher.

Production for the show begins in mid-September, and the series will debut on Sunday January 9th at 9PM.
