Harry Potter Stars Among Hollywood’s Highest Young Earners

HARRY POTTER stars DANIEL RADCLIFFE, EMMA WATSON and RUPERT GRINT have made the top 20 in a list of the highest paid celebrities under 30.

The talented trio has found themselves among such illustrious company as pop star Beyonce Knowles, U.S. basketball ace Kobe Bryant and Hollywood beauty Katherine Heigl on the rich list, compiled by American publication Forbes.

Radcliffe, who plays J.K. Rowling’s superhero wizard in the popular fantasy series, raked in the biggest fortune for the year ending June 2008, amassing a staggering $32.5 million (£23.8 million) to outstrip the likes of Miley Cyrus and all three Jonas Brothers.

Watson, who plays faithful sidekick Hermione Granger, brought home $7.1 million (£5.2 million), while Grint’s role as geeky accomplice Ron Weasley earned him $6.4 million (£4.7 million).

But Crazy in Love star Knowles was miles ahead of the chasing pack with an estimated $104m (£76.4 million) fortune, while Justin Timberlake took second spot with $57.3 million (£42 million).

  1. I hate that I don’t know half of the people on the list. Oh, well. I am not surprised about the Harry Potter kids. They are very successful movies.
