Rourke says Penn will probably win Best Actor

When Mickey Rourke won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor last month for his role in the critically acclaimed “The Wrestler” he gave a shout out of thanks to his canine friends saying, “Sometimes when a man’s alone, that’s all you got, is your dog. And they’ve meant the world to me.” But Rourke indicated he may not be thanking anybody at the Academy Awards.

Despite nabbing the Golden Globe Award and all of the buzz surrounding his performance Rourke does not anticipate that he will win the Academy Award for his performance on February 22. “I’ll probably be up there clapping for Sean Penn,” Rourke told PEOPLE Monday at the 81st annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon, in Beverly Hills. Penn is another serious contender for Best Actor for his performance in the film Milk.

Either way, Rourke’s attitude shows a humbleness that we need more of in Hollywood.

Who do you thing will win the Best Actor Academy Award?
