A Look At Justin Long From ‘Drag Me To Hell’

Drag Me To Hell – Justin Long

Justin Long’s latest project is that of Drag Me To Hell which tells the story of Christine Brown (Alison Lohman)who is an ambitious L.A. loan officer with a charming boyfriend, professor Clay Dalton (Justin Long). Life is good until the mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) arrives at the bank to beg for an extension on her home loan. Should Christine follow her instincts and give the old woman a break? Or should she deny the extension to impress her boss, Mr. Jacks (David Paymer), and get a leg-up on a promotion? Christine fatefully chooses the latter, shaming Mrs. Ganush and dispossessing her of her home. In retaliation, the old woman places the powerful curse of the Lamia on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell.

Before Drag Me To Hell however, Justin Long was no stranger to the screen appearing in such films as Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, and He’s Just Not That Into You. We’ve been used to seeing him in comedy roles as that is what he does best. The outtakes on Zack and Miri prove this if you have any doubt. The man knows how to do improv with the best of them. However, Justin is trying to stretch himself and ensure that he doesn’t get typecasted into that role. He has a long list of projects coming out including Planet 51, Youth in Revolt, and Serious Moonlight .

What you might not know about Justin is that his first commercial film was actually the Tim Allen flick Galaxy Quest, that he was ranked #25 on Entertainment Weekly’s ’30 Under 30′ actors list in 2008, and that he receives a mere 15% discount with Apple for being their spokesperson.

The rising star now calls New York his home when he’s not on location, and he still remains quite about his personal life. Be sure to check Justin out in Drag Me To Hell and keep your eyes open for the actor’s upcoming projects.
