Roman Polanski Being Released

Swiss justice officials have announced that Roman Polanski will be released from prison on Friday on $4.5 million bail. Polanski will be allowed to return to his chalet in an Alpine resort and await the decision on whether he will be extradited back to Los Angeles. Polanski won’t be allowed to leave his home but will be allowed to invite friends over, throw parties, use the internet, make phone calls, etc.

Polanski, if extradited, will face sentencing for having illegal sex with a 13-year old girl back in the 1970s.
