Twilight’s Robert Pattinson Is Made Into A Waxwork, But It’s No Edward Cullen
It seems a new level of fame has abruptly come upon Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Robert Pattinson. On March 25th, 2010, a waxwork of the star was unveiled at London’s Madame Tussauds.
Though he may be a bit ‘waxy’, Twilight fans seem to not mind that fact, and jumped at the chance of being able to finally get up close and personal with the heartthrob Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen. With the messy hair and that narrow-eyed expression of the real Robert, museum founders strongly believe that this will no doubt become one of their hottest attractions. Though the figure has been described by some as “amazing and spot on”, not everyone seems to be impressed. Mixed responses are stemming from the waxwork and right on to the ever-popular website, Twitter, and a few of those tweets have gone public.
One states, “The Madame Tussauds robert pattinson wax figure looks nicer than he does in real life. woops [sic]” Another goes on to say, “I just don’t really think it looks like him, yet it kinda does…a little [sic]” Robert’s waxwork took four months to make and cost £150,000.
