Heather Locklear Arrested After Hit-And-Run

Heather Locklear was arrested last Saturday after a hit-and run. Though she was only cited, and not actually hauled off to jail, a Ventura County Sherriff’s Department official told TMZ that type of citation is considered an “arrest.”

Though no one contacted the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department until 7:48 p.m. that night, the crash was reported to be heard around 4 a.m near Locklears’ Westlake Village, Californian home.

Heather’s black BMW supposedly knocked down a “no parking” sign and went over the curb. Damages to the BMW were confirmed to be consistent with the accident.

Though the crime alone is just a misdemeanor, in 2008 Heather pleaded no contest to yet another misdemeanor charge, that one being reckless driving, and received three years informal probation. A Santa Barbara prosecutor is looking into her recent accident as it could be a violation of her probation.
