Lady Gaga is proving that self expression really does pay off – not only does she have the most Twitter followers, Gaga has officially taken the crown as the first artist to reach one billion views on YouTube!

“We reached 1 Billion views on youtube little monsters!” she Tweeted. “If we stick together we can do anything. I dub u kings and queens of youtube! Unite!”

But watch out Gaga! Bieber is right on your heels with a projected ‘1 billion hits’ date of November 1st [current hit count is roughly 962 million].

Gaga averages almost 1.8 million views per day, and has surpassed the King Of Pop Michael Jackson!
