Michelle Williams Talks About Heath Ledger’s Sudden Death
Almost three years after Heath Ledger’s death, Michelle Williams opened up about the loss of her former love and the father of her daughter Matilda. Williams commented saying that she is still searching for the meaning in Ledger’s death.
“I can’t find a meaning for it,” Williams said on Tuesday’s Nightline. “I can find meanings in things and people and relationships that have sprung up, and friendships that have strengthened. I can find a lot of meaning in that, but not in why.”
Williams also admits that she misses 2008, the year in which Ledger died, “In a strange way, I miss that year, because all those possibilities that existed then are gone… it didn’t seem unlikely to me that he could walk through a door or could appear behind a bush. It was a year of very magical thinking, and in some ways I’m sad to be moving further and further away from it.”
I’m having a hard time finding words after that interview. She is such an amazing actress and even better person. I hope one day she finds that happiness that she had during Brokeback Mountain. She soo deserves it.
Yeah it is hard to watch parts of the interview. I’m glad to see her smiling again though. I’ve been a fan of her’s since Dawsons Creek – she’s an incredible actress and appears to be an incredible person as well. You’re totally right – she deserves great things.
