House’s Lisa Edelstein Stands Up For Women’s Rights

House‘s Lisa Edelstein has teamed up with the highly-respected creators of the Right To Choose commercials to address a presently controversial issue concerning women worldwide.

In a new “Right to Choose” ad for the activist group MoveOn, the House star portrays a woman in the 1950s walking hesitantly down a hallway toward a closet door.

“Decades ago, women suffered through horrifying back alley abortions, or they used dangerous methods when they had no other recourse,” Edelstein is heard saying in a voiceover.

“Why is the GOP trying to send women back…to the back alley?” The commercial leaves nothing left for the imagination as the actress then sadly opens the door to reveal nothing more than a wire clothes hanger while dressed in modern attire.

The group Move On, who are well known for their “shock treatment” and “hard truth” ways of getting their opinions heard, expressed a few months back that their reasoning for what they do is simply to “make the world realize that it is us, the people, that can ultimately make a change”.

The ad will reportedly air on various cable networks.
