‘Ugly Betty’ Star America Ferrera Marries!

America Ferrera has married her long-term boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams. The intimate ceremony went down on the 27th as the couple was surrounded by family and their castmates from Ugly Betty.

The happy couple got hitched at Ferrera’s former co-star, Vanessa Williams’ house in Chappaqua, upstate New York.

“It was an intimate setting amongst close friends and family.” A source told People magazine, “The bride wore a dress by Amsale’s Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings.”

Ferrera, 27, met Williams at the University of Southern California when he cast her in a student film. Ryan, who runs a production company, proposed last June and Ferrera first showed off her diamond topped engagement ring at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland later that month.

Shortly after their engagement, Ferrera said of their relationship: “We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other. A shared passion for what we do and our work.”

The wedding ceremony was officiated by Ugly Betty cast member Judith Light, and plenty of other stars were in attendance including Rebecca Romijn, her husband Jerry O’Connell, and Ferrera’s co-stars from the film Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively.

Since Ugly Betty ended, Ferrera has had a recurring role on drama series The Good Wife and she will next voice a character in animated film How to Train Your Dragon 2.
