The Daily Verse – Shoot Many Robots Trailer, Amalur And Mass Effect 3 DLC

It’s been a slow news day in The Verse but not to worry. We’ve scrounged up a few items for you to chew on. First off, as an entrée, is the trailer for Ubisofts 2D shooter, Shoot Many Robots.

In the newest Shoot Many Robots trailer, Demiurge Studios highlights the arsenal of weapons, armor and other items that players can equip to P. Walter Tugnut. Players can customize Walter to their favorite play style when they takes on hordes of enraged robots.

Shoot Many Robots follows P. Walter Tugnut on his mission to kill as many robots as possible after a factory ominously begins to produce killer robots. With an RV full of guns and beer, gamers will experience a four-player co-op run-n-gun, side-scrolling shooter filled with a ton of weapon and item customization.

For the main course we have some details on downloadable content for EA’s massive RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It is entitled The Legend of Dead Kel and will release on March 20th on all platforms. The following details are from the press release:

Finally, for dessert, EA is giving us some details on some Downloadable Content for Mass Effect 3 entitled The Vault. It’s being made in collaboration with Calibur11 and will release alongside the game. There’s a lot of info, so we’ve inserted the full press release below:

The Vault’s Reinforcement Packs contain a wide variety of character race and class unlocks, weapons and weapon modifications, ammo, power and health consumables, and more must have extras for all Mass Effect™ fans. There are two ways for players to earn Reinforcement Packs for use in the multiplayer demo: via in-game credits earned by completing objectives in the demo co-op missions or by participation in the Mass Effect™3 Recruitment Program.

This Collector’s Edition Mass Effects™3 Vault armours up your console to show Commander Shepard at his best. His chest piece bares the worldly recognised ‘N7 logo’ and comes with its own numbered Certificate of Authenticity and code that can be redeemed for the bonus items in Mass Effect™3 Multiplayer experience.

As a high-end console case, the engineering team at Calibur11 have ensured that the Vault promotes cooling of consoles for optimal performance, providing superior airflow by lifting the console off the ground, allowing the fan to work at its best ability. In addition, it features a controller/headset cradle and a light up N7 logo.
