The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Dragonborn Expansion Announced

Bethesda Game Studios announced this week a new expansion for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. This new DLC expansion is called “Dragonborn.” As you might expect from the name alone, it focuses heavily on the dragons and dragonborn people aspects of the game. Will also feature the original dragonborn person in the expansion as well as brand new areas. From initial looks alone, this expansion looks to be quite a huge one compared to the last two Skyrim DLC packages.

This brand new expansion is currently scheduled to be released for the Xbox 360 on December 4th, 2012. The expansion will cost 1600 Microsoft Points or $20.00 in real world money terms. The expansion is expected to eventually come to the Playstation 3 and PC at a later date.

In related news, Bethesda Game Studios has also mentioned this week that they are close to releasing new content for Skyrim on the Playstation 3 and PC platforms. Even though the Xbox 360 has received both the Dawnguard DLC and the Hearthfire DLC, the other two platforms have been delayed countless times.
