Trent Ford And Daniel Gillies Join ‘Vampire Diaries’

Trent Ford and Daniel Gillies have signed up for roles in The Vampire Diaries.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the duo will play centuries-old vampires Trevor and Elijah. The pair will join former Supernatural actress Lauren Cohan, who has joined the show as the vampire Rose.

The show’s executive producer Julie Plec said: “They have deep ties to Katerina Petrova. They will be heavily featured in November Sweeps episodes ‘Rose’ and ‘Katerina’.”

Ford has previously starred in Gosford Park, The West Wing and The Class. Meanwhile, Gillies appeared in Bride & Prejudice and has recently had guest roles in NCIS and True Blood.
