New Games And Release Dates For Nintendo Direct

Nintendo announced several new games and release dates for future games in their latest Nintendo Direct on February 14th, 2013. In case you don’t know what a Nintendo Direct is, it is Nintendo’s way of getting information about their hardware and software out to the public.

Within this Nintendo Direct, it has been declared the year of Luigi. Not only is Luigi’s Mansion 2 coming next month, but several new games staring or feature Luigi is also on the way. For example a brand new Mario & Luigi RPG series and Mario Golf is on it’s way to the 3DS for release in the Summer. On the Wii U front, a new DLC expansion for New Super Mario Bros U is also on the way. This new DLC will feature all the main levels, 80+ in all, in a remix style featured for Luigi. This looks to be a very large expansion that should be in our hands by the end of the year. The latest Animal Crossing will now be released in the States and Europe in early June.
