PlayStation 4’s Exclusive Game Line-Up Revealed! (Trailers)

When Sony revealed their latest home game console, the Playstation 4, they dedicated half of the two hour conference to the games. They had us hook, line, and sinker with the reveal of the PS4’s new features, from streaming content to and from your system, to deep social integration, a new Dualshock loads of additions, and a progressive vision for the future that takes us back to the old Sony, in a way. But they also realized that a console is not really good for much without the games- streaming your gameplay so your buddies can watch from afar, or even jump into play with you, doesn’t mean much when you don’t have a great game to do it with.

On this front, PlayStation came out swinging with a brand new IP, Knack, from Studio Japan, spearheaded by legendary game developer Mark Cerny (who, incidentally, is also working on the hardware itself, and gave a jaw-dropping presentation at the conference). They quickly followed up with heavy hitters Guerrilla Games and Sucker Punch, and their staple franchises in Killzone and inFAMOUS. There were also reveals of exclusive games from Evolution Studios and Capcom, as well as a timed exclusive from the creator of cult hit Braid and the promise of more Final Fantasy from Square Enix. Blizzard came out of nowhere and announced a rare foray into the console world, bringing Diablo III to both the PS3 and PS4. Finally, Ubisoft and Bungie showed their big next-gen titles, Watch Dogs and Destiny respectively, running on the hardware and looking as slick as ever. Check out the trailers of the six exclusive games below;

Knack – Mark Cerny, Studio Japan

Killzone: Shadow Fall – Guerrilla Games

inFAMOUS: Second Son – Sucker Punch

DriveClub – Evolution Studios

Deep Down – Yoshinori Ono, Capcom
