Live To Dance Will Face Off Against American Idol

CBS revealed this week exactly when it will air Paula Abdul’s new dance-competition show, Live to Dance. When? Directly against American Idol!

They have got be joking right? Paula’s show hasn’t even hit airwaves yet…it’s like throwing a mouse in the ring with a cat – no contest.

Sadly, it’s true though – when it debuts early next year, Abdul’s reality show will face off against the most popular show in the country.

Live to Dance kicks off with a two-hour special Jan. 4 before moving to its regular hour-long slot Wednesdays, starting Jan. 5.

This could get interesting – who knows, Live To Dance could know the pants right off of the now Simon-less American Idol – fans, is it likely? Or is this a complete set-up for show failure?
