Stefan’s Diaries #1: ‘Origins’ In Stores Now

Stefan’s Diaries Vol. 1 Origins, the first of a planned prequel series, is now available in stores.

The trilogy is written in a diary format from the point of view of Stefan Salvatore and is based on the TV series’ mythology. This trilogy is not written by L.J. Smith (The creator of The Vampire Diaries book series in which the show is based on).

Official Book Summary:

“Set during the Civil War, against a backdrop of grand estates, unimaginable riches, and deadly secrets, three teenagers in Mystic Falls, Virginia enter a torrid love triangle that will span eternity.

Brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore are inseparable until they meet Katherine, a stunning, mysterious woman who turns their world upside down. Stefan’s Diaries Vol. 2 will be released on January 4th, 2011.

  1. I am very interested in hearing more of Stefan’s story, when I first read about it, and that it wasn’t written by L.J Smith, I thought that was sad. But on second thought, being the TV show is vastly different, it makes sense.

  2. When I first heard about this series I thought it was by L.J Smith and based on the book series not the show. Since I found out it’s based on the show I’m definitely more interested in reading it.

  3. I wasn’t interested until I read that it WASN’T written by LJ Smith. I just couldn’t get into those books at all. The show is far superior.
