Dancing With The Stars Contestants Talk: Preparation, Love, And Competition
With Dancing With the Stars‘ season premiere on the verge of return, contestants Mike Catherwood and Chris Jericho are revealing what they’ve done to prepare for the dance-floor competition!
“I haven’t changed my underwear since the cast was announced,” Chris says. “I can vouch for that,” Mike jokes.
On a more serious note, Chris says he’s been getting some lessons from WWE diva Stacy Kiebler. “Stacy Keibler is a really good friend of mine, and she has kind of helped me out a little bit. You have to be in this 100 percent, because it is the most physically and mentally demanding thing you will ever do — and so far she has been right.”
But besides learning the dance routines, Mike has another goal in mind and that involves Chris’ partner Cheryl Burke. “She is actually treating me very well,” Mike reveals. “I think there is a romance there between the two of us.” Chris admits the chemistry, saying: “Cheryl is nicer to him than she is to me!”
So there’s already love in the air, huh?! What else will the guys’ bring the table? Both Chris and Mike are already promising to wow viewers. “We’ve been rehearsing six or seven hours a day, working on all of our routines and just really polishing them, getting them as good as they can possibly be for Monday night,” Mike says.
And who does Mike think their biggest competition is? “We really don’t get a chance to see anyone dance. I run into a lot of other contestants at the dance/rehearsal studio but I don’t get a chance to see them dance.”
That will all change fairly soon when the contestants hit the dance floor Monday, March 21st. Which couple do you think will be the first to go?
