FanBolt’s Vampire Diaries Fan Party: A Night To Remember!

FanBolt threw a party last night in Atlanta for fans of The Vampire Diaries. Fans of the series have flooded into Atlanta for the EyeCon convention this weekend where several of the stars from the series will be appearing and interacting with the fans. The actor they’re most excited to see? Easy if you ask the girls in attendance last night – Ian Somerhalder. But don’t worry Stefan fans, Paul Wesley came in a close second!

FanBolt’s TVD Fan Party was a free event to attend. Fans were able to meet fellow fans and finally put Twitter names to faces while grabbing dinner and drinks. There were a few local fans in the bunch, and even a pair of fans that have traveled in from Canada!

The night’s agenda including a fan meet and greet, a Q/A panel with 3 extras who have appeared on the series before (Lukis Newborn, Mandy Graham, and Michael Jaegers), a screening of last night’s Vampire Diaries, and of course door prizes which ranged from a Vampire Diaries tee and soundtrack (Courtesy of FanBolt), Season 1 DVD (Courtesy of ThinkHero.Com, a Damon standee (Courtesy of WBShop.Com), and a prop from Season 2 (Courtesy of Michael Jaegers).

We were able to stream part of our event online through TVD After Dark with Romancia and Vampire Diaries Online, so that fans that weren’t able to attend were still able to get in on the action. Curious as to what fans were saying? Check out some of the tweets from last night below!

The night served as a great kick-off for the fan-fun-filled weekend the attendees have ahead! And I personally had a fabulous time meeting everyone I’ve interacted with on Twitter! A HUGE thanks to Gordon Biersch for hooking us with a free room for our party! And thanks to everyone who came out, and to our awesome guests Lukis, Mandy, and Michael – everyone loved hearing how much fun it was to work on the series and how amazing the cast is!
