Drew Carey Starting New Improv Comedy Show

Despite hosting The Price is Right, Drew Carey is preparing to start a new TV show, which will be a sketch comedy series.

It is set to debut on the Game Show network, and all 40 episodes will be taped at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Several cast members from The Drew Carey Show will make appearances such as Ryan Stiles, Chip Esten and Kathy Kinney. The audiences will supply suggestion for the sketches instead of going off the producers like in Whose Line is it Anyway. Other guest stars will rotate into the cast.

Drew had this to say: “Line was structured and this show is a lot more free-form.” He added that will not “hog the stage.”
