Backstreet Boys Want Comeback Success

The BACKSTREET BOYS have hailed TAKE THAT as the inspiration for their comeback album.

The five-piece have recently reformed – albeit without new father Kevin Richardson – and they hope they can enjoy the same amount of success as reunited British boyband, Take That.

The Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell says, “I was happy for Take That when they came back out. I was a fan of theirs when we first came to Europe. We did a TV show with them one time and Gary Barlow and the guys were on stage. They sang, ‘Never Forget where you’re coming from.’ It was awesome.”

“They had the choir up there, doing what they wanted to do, they’re talented guys. Hopefully pending a good record and a good tour, people will come back to us again too.”
