Madonna’s New Album Named

Pop superstar MADONNA’s highly anticipated new album will be called HARD CANDY, her publicist has confirmed.

The CD – the follow up to 2005’s Confessions On A Dance Floor – will be released on 29 April (08), and also features a song called Candy Store produced by Pharell Williams.

Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s representative, explains the singer chose to stick to the sugary theme because she loves sugary treats.

She adds, “It’s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed, ‘I’m gonna kick your ass, but it’s going to make you feel good.'”

Hard Candy’s release will be preceded by single 4 Minutes To Save The World, which features Justin Timberlake, at the end of March (08).
