Winehouse Hospital Tests Are Inconclusive

Troubled British singer AMY WINEHOUSE must remain in the hospital after collapsing at her London home – because test results have proved inconclusive.

Medics were called to her home on Monday (16Jun08) after the 24-year-old star fainted and her father Mitch demanded she was taken to hospital as “a precaution.”

But test results have proved inconclusive, and Winehouse has been ordered to stay in hospital for at least another night.

A spokesman for the star says, “Doctors want to get to the bottom of it before releasing her. There will be further tests and they will keep her under observation. She seems to be fine… but they are taking their time to be sure.”

The representative adds that Winehouse had been signing autographs for Canadian fans who had been waiting outside her house all day when she fainted.
