Destiny’s Child are to back together and make a new album, according to reports. The iconic pop act split-up in 2005, insisting the move was permanent as they eyed successful solo careers.
However, apparently the trio of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are yet to see out their recording commitments. “They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract”, a source explained.
Speaking about ongoing rumours linking the group with a comeback earlier this year, Williams said it could happen. “Getting back together certainly hasn’t been ruled out, although we don’t talk about business when we are hanging out – it’s just girlie gossip. We are all busy with solo ventures, but who knows what the future holds?”, she explained.
Destiny’s are expected to begin work on their first new material in five years when Beyonce completes promo work on her last solo LP “I Am…Sasha Fierce”.
