1995 – The Grateful Dead performed their last concert with Jerry Garcia at Soldier Field in Chicago.

1996 – Prince released the album Chaos and Disorder.

1998 – Scott Weiland had a bench warrant issued for him after missing his second court date. The singer was ordered to face a judge on drug possession charges.
