T.I. Surrenders For Prison

The self-proclaimed King of the South has finally surrendered himself to begin serving his 11 month sentence for violating probation.

Clifford Harris, who goes by the nickname T.I., checked in this morning to the same minimum-security federal facility that he spent seven months at earlier this year for his illegal weapons conviction early this Monday morning.

In the time between his court appearance and his surrender, it is reported that the rapper used it to put the finishing touches on the upcoming Dec. 7th album entitled No Mercy. Before heading back to prison, the rapper was able to finish shooting a music video featuring Chris Brown for the album’s second single, “Get Back Up.”

So all in all, it’s obvious that though the rapper may be behind bars for the next eleven months, it doesn’t mean he won’t be racking up the dollars with album sales, and all over our tv screens with a new, no-doubt catchy tune.
