Catching Up on the Wii U – The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Wii U – Catching Up on Nintendo’s Wii U Console
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
The charm that is Wind Waker is now in HD, making the game even more beautiful. I’ll go ahead and mention that I’ve never played Wind Waker before getting my hands on the Wii U version. I’m sorry for saying this, but I was actually annoyed by the look of Wind Waker when it was announced. I wanted nothing to do with it.
Thankfully I was young and stupid and have been able to move beyond that because now I see how much of an idiot I was when I was younger. Wind Waker HD is so incredibly charming and wonderful! I now love its style and greatly appreciate the game. It’s such an easy-going game to sit back and relax to while still having a great time.
The sense of adventure that’s always found in Zelda games just simply gets an extra burst of wind with this title by adding the sailing of the seas. I love discovering new islands, hearing tales of different tribes, discovering treasure locked away, composing music with the Wind Waker baton, and so much more. Controlling the wind with the baton so players can sail in a particular direction is the perfect complement to the adventure on the seas. Yeah, I’m way late in discovering all of this, but at least I can now fall in love with The Wind Waker in HD.
This is clearly a must own game for all Wii U owners, especially for those who are like me and haven’t played it before. Oh my, how foolish one can be when young of age. I sent a ton of screenshots to friends as well, that’s how much fun I’m having with the game. Plus, I found a coffee shop nearby! YAY!
